Hightower’s capital solutions, operational support services, size and scale empower its vibrant community of independent-minded wealth advisors to grow their businesses and help their clients achieve their vision of “well-th. rebalanced.” Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).What You’ll Do:Develop and implement comprehensive investment strategies and models tailored to specific goals, risk tolerance, and financial circumstances of the firm’s clientsLead the firm’s Investment Committee which includes, but is not limited to capital markets updates, changes to investment processes, and responding to questions for the advisors, their clients, and prospectsGenerate regular investment performance reports for the Investment Committee, including portfolio returns, risk metrics, and benchmark comparisonsStay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to adjust strategies as needed. Analyze and monitor critical macroeconomic issues for their potential impact on investment portfoliosOversee the management of diverse investment portfolios, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and other asset classesMonitor portfolio performance, risk exposure, attribution, and asset allocation, making necessary adjustments to optimize returnsUsing the firm’s software and programs, conduct in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and market research to identify suitable investment opportunitiesStay informed about emerging investment products, asset classes, and investment technologiesBuild and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for investment-related mattersEffectively communicate investment strategies and performance to clients in a clear and understandable mannerSet performance targets, provide guidance, and facilitate professional development within the teamEnsure that all investment activities comply with industry regulations and company policiesImplement risk management strategies to protect client assets and uphold fiduciary responsibilitiesPresent investment results and insights in client meetings and reviewsPlease note you are expected to be in the Westport office Monday-FridayWhat You’ll Bring:10 years of proven experience in a senior investment role within the wealth management, family office, or investment industryBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or similar professional certifications highly preferred (CIMA/CAIA); Series 7,65/66Bloomberg/Morningstar experience preferredStrong analytical and quantitative skillsExcellent understanding of financial markets, investment products, and asset allocationWhat We Offer:Base salary- $150,000 plus discretionary bonus.
